A true passion for fine wines led Brian Crawford and Terry Martens on a search for an opportunity to be hands-on in the production of some of the best wines in the world. These two successful Canadian businessmen with deep roots in the farming in Western Canada have concluded this journey in South America. Situated in the Southwest corner of Mendoza Province, the heartland of fine wines in Argentina, the two discovered Haarth Winery. Derly Haarth, the past owner of this proud Family business since 1975, was quick to recognize the energy, enthusiasm and commitment that Brian and Terry could bring to his enterprise. Their respect for traditional farming values combined with their ability to create a new vision made the sale of 85 acres of organic vineyards and bodega a perfect fit. Brian and Terry’s philosophy of maintaining strict quality control and integrity has been warmly welcomed by the proud team of long serving employees at BodegaHaarth Viñedos.
